I have arrived in Cairo and am happy to start 2012 in such an amazing city. The past month in the ashram was gruelling but I miss it already. Who would have thought waking up at 5:30am, sitting on the floor 18hrs a day and talking about the illusion of the real (actually unreal) world could be so fulfilling? My stay at the ashram was a powerful experience and I plan to write about it soon.
For now, I just want to update everyone on my immediate future. I have accidentally stumbled into a job opportunity which I decided to accept. Starting next week I will be working at the most elite gym in Cairo- Gold's Gym- as a personal trainer and later a yoga instructor too. It is an exciting opportunity and allows me to practice what I love in a city I love until the time comes for me to travel again.
